I visited a lotus garden for the first time this week and was totally blown away by the beauty of these flowers, the buds, the seed pods and the full blown flowers like gorgeous water peonies was just amazing.
I have tried to portray the purity of the forms in this triptych. Created in CS5 using three textures by French Kiss and one by Clive Sax plus Topaz Detail and multiple layers and images all my own.
About Margaret Hormann Bfa
Margaret has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from RMIT but has worked for many years in other mediums. She has work in the National Gallery of Victoria collection and in other private collections including international.Margaret loves photography but most of all she loves taking those photographs further and making them into a completely new creation. Since discovering Digital Art she has begun to create the kind of images that reflect her own personal response to the landscape, flowers, animals and birds on our planet. Margaret's works tend to be moody and reflective with subdued colours and lots of texture although occasionaly bright clear colours creep in.
